The game

Gaffer XI is a free football draft game provided for entertainment. It is offered "as is", and while we work hard to keep it running well and available, we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Features and content may change over time.

Acceptable use

Please play fairly. In particular, do not attempt to abuse, automate, overload or tamper with the game or its Hall of Fame, submit fabricated results, or use the leaderboard to post offensive, hateful or personal content as a team name. Submissions that break these rules may be removed, and we may restrict access where necessary to protect the game and other players.

Hall of Fame submissions

Submitting a run to the Hall of Fame is optional. Because the team name and run details are shown publicly, you are responsible for what you submit — keep it clean and do not include personal information. We may moderate or remove entries at our discretion.

Intellectual property

Gaffer XI is an unofficial fan project with no affiliation to, or endorsement from, any football club, league, federation or player. No official logos, club crests or player photographs are used. Clubs are represented with original monograms and colours. Player names and years are historical references used purely for identification within the game, and all ratings are fictional and intended only for gameplay. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. If you are a rights holder with a concern, please contact us through the in-game contact form.

Advertising

Gaffer XI is kept free through advertising. By using the game you understand that third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) may be shown, subject to the choices described in our privacy policy.

Disclaimer and liability

Gaffer XI is provided without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game. Ratings, simulations and results are fictional and for entertainment only.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated terms.
