## What it is
- A free, browser-based football (soccer) draft / dream-team game.
- You build an eleven (XI) by drafting players one position at a time, then a fast,
  text-based match engine plays your games out with a live scoreboard.
- Retro sticker-album look; quick to play; shareable end cards.

## Game modes
- **League** — draft from a chosen league's heroes and play a full season for the title.
- **Cup** — draft a team and play through a knockout bracket (with penalties).
- **World Cup** — every tournament from 1998 to 2026, plus an all-time mixed mode,
  using national squads rated for that tournament.
- **Money Mode** — a budget squad-builder: spend a transfer budget on an XI from a
  priced player market and beat rival managers over a short mini-season.

## Hall of Fame
- Finished runs can be submitted to a live, public Hall of Fame.
- Leaderboards per mode, with two boards each: Performance (points / goals / wins)
  and Underdog (winning with the lowest-rated team, or the cheapest title in Money Mode).
